Our Services

We offer programs and services that will help you make simple connections, synthesize information, and apply what you learn to new, more complex situations – both inside and outside the classroom. Career coaches assist students in identifying and executing individualized game plans which increase the likelihood that their passions, their skills, and the market will intersect.

Career Coaching Appointments

Do you have a career question? Need help with your resume? Looking for ways to explore careers or make a major-career connection? Wait no longer, you can make an appointment through Handshake to meet with a career coach in person, virtually, or via phone.

Undergraduate Appointments are available:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

PCSB Graduate Student Info:

The Chirico Career Center has a variety of resources to assist with all stages of the career development process. This allows students to focus on their career plans when it is convenient. All passwords can be found in the Resource section on Handshake.

Quiet Room Reservations

Are you in need of a private, quiet setting for a virtual or phone interview, taking an online graduate school test, a tele-health appointment or for something else? The Chirico Career Center has three private rooms for students in Slavin 108! Please make your reservation by calling our office at (401) 865-1290, or send us an email at careers@providence.edu at least 48 hours in advance.

Resume Lab

New this semester, Resume Lab is a collaborative space for resume tips, examples, and resources. Whether you’re starting from scratch, or just need help with finishing touches, we can help you with all steps of the resume-writing process. No appointment is required, just drop by Slavin 108 on Wednesdays from 1-3 PM!

Diversity, Inclusion & Early Engagement Programs & Resources

The NEW Diversity, Inclusion & Early Engagement programs and resources support the career development and internship/job search process of underrepresented students:

  • “Inclusive Voice”: Weekly Newsletter segment to highlight career opportunities
  • Real Talk: A series that provides career and life tips, info and guidance
  • Group Coaching Sessions: Students receive career coaching and peer support
