Our Approach

Our Approach
The Chirico Career Center is dedicated to guiding students toward their educational and career aspirations from the moment they become Friars. We believe that the time students spend in college profoundly shapes their time after college, and that journey begins with building a strong foundation. By assessing their interests, strengths, and possible majors or minors—often within their first weeks on campus—students begin discerning their goals and laying the groundwork for meaningful careers and lives. To support this early exploration, our Incoming First‑Year Coaching Program allows students to connect with career coaches even before they arrive on campus.
Once that foundation is established, we continue walking alongside each student as they build skills, develop leadership, and take intentional steps toward their post‑PC destination—whether that leads to employment, service-oriented opportunities, or graduate education. We also proudly support our graduate students through individualized coaching appointments, access to FriarHub, and participation in our full slate of career programs and events.
