Support A Fellow Friar

Help our future alumni explore opportunities, gain experience, and launch their careers! The Chirico Career Center invites alumni to partner with us in preparing Providence College students for career success. Whether or not you’re in a position to Hire a Friar, you can still make a meaningful impact. From sharing career advice and providing resume feedback to referring students to your HR department, there are many ways to open doors. Explore the variety of opportunities below to connect with students and help them GET HIRED!

Share Career Information & Advice on FriarHub

Be a resource to current students as a member of FriarHub, our alumni-student career network. Join the hundreds of alumni that have volunteered to help PC students with their career development by sharing career information and advice. To join, visit FriarHub and create your profile.

Be Part of a Career Program or Event

Career panels and events educate and inform students about various careers and industries. In addition to learning about possible career paths, students are able to build their Friar network by connecting with alumni. If you are interested in volunteering for a future panel or event, email Victoria Lally to be added to our alumni resource list.

“Careers In…” are a series of workshops in which alumni and PC faculty discuss a particular industry and the types of careers and skills needed to be successful in that field. The goal is to expose students to various industries so they can take the appropriate tracks for their interest/industry as they move forward in their education and prepare for their eventual career. For interest in participating in a “Careers In…” program, email Susan Riley.

Post an Internship or Entry-Level Job

FriarHub is our database of internships and jobs that current students and alumni can search when looking for new opportunities. If your organization is not already connected to PC, you will need to register in FriarHub, and once your organization is approved, you will then be able to post opportunities.

For assistance with FriarHub, please contact Victoria Lally, Associate Director for Alumni and Employer Engagement.

Participate in the Alumni Job Shadowing Program

Shadowing provides students with an opportunity to observe alumni in their work setting for a day. Alumni from all industries and professions are welcome to participate. A typical shadow day could involve sitting in on meetings, touring the workplace, networking with colleagues, and gaining insights of the industry. Shadowing visits occur from mid-May until the end of June.

Interested in being a host for the Alumni Job Shadowing Program? Please complete our interest form, linked here, to receive additional details.
