Internship Funding

Are you a Providence College student with an internship looking for financial assistance during the course of your internship program? The Chirico Career Center offers a variety of funding programs and grants to assist students throughout their internship experience. Funding applications are currently closed for Summer 2022. Below is a list of the funding opportunities offered in past years:

Boisclair-Mandell Student Athlete Experiential Education Program

  • Student Athletes
  • All years
  • Unpaid internship, must apply before start of internship
  • Minimum 40 hours / Maximum 200 hours

Gilbert V. Lavoie Science and Business Fellowship

  • Science, business or law majors
  • Rising Juniors & Seniors
  • Summer paid or unpaid internship
  • Minimum 8 weeks/240 hours

PCSB Intern Fellowship Program

  • Business undergrad majors only
  • All years
  • Must apply before start of internship
  • Minimum 6 weeks / 120 hours

Senator Thomas Dodd ‘30 Funded Internship Program

  • All majors / All years
  • Connecticut residents only
  • Summer unpaid internship at a non-profit or government organization
  • Minimum of 4 weeks/120 hours- ½ stipend
  • Minimum of 8 weeks/240 hours

Southeastern New England Educational and Charitable Foundation

  • Environmental Science Majors
  • All Years
  • Summer unpaid internship
  • Minimum of 8 weeks/240 hours

Sports & Entertainment Internship Funding Program

  • All Majors
  • Rising Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors
  • Unpaid, experiential learning opportunity in the sports or entertainment industry
  • Must be located in U.S. and minimum of 40 hours (award capping at 200 hours)

Veritas Distinguished Internship Program

  • All Majors
  • Rising Juniors & Seniors
  • Summer Internship at a non-profit or government organization
  • Minimum of 8 weeks/240 hours

Victor ’73 and Joan Forni Fund

  • All Majors / All years (undergraduate only)
  • Summer internship at a non-profit organization
  • Priority given to internships within the Providence community
  • Remote and in-person internships welcome to apply
  • Minimum 150 hours
